If you've ever started the new year thinking "I should get more veggies," this is your chance to do exactly that in 2016.

We've picked five of the best veggie-themed toys from Amazon, all within a sensible budget. They won't help you with your vitamins, but they'll be a hit with any food fetishists in your room.

1. Oneisall Crystal Banana Toy

Gloriously bright yellow, smooth, waterproof, and able to be heated or cooled, this toy does everything except vibrate.

Check the 'size options' on Amazon, as you can specify a cucumber, eggplant, loofah or radish design instead of a banana, if you want something a bit different.

They're all basically the same shape, nothing too weird, but the radish is especially cute and a lovely purple-pink color, too.

2. Oneisall Glass Corn Toy

More from Oneisall, this time in the shape of corn, with the option of another banana design, or a green or purple cucumber.

Again, these are solid glass toys, which means they can be used in water, and can be heated or cooled, as well as being easy to clean.

3. Vovii Red Chili Pepper Toy

OK this is not so much of a work of art, but we had to put chili pepper designs on the list of veggie toys, and at least this one vibrates!

It's a simple battery-powered vibrator and claims to be pretty quiet, so you should be able to focus on the visual effect.

4. Crazy Fruit Chili Vibe

Another chili pepper vibrator, this time green in color, and completely waterproof so - according to the Amazon product description - you can use it in the hot tub or the pool!

It also suggests using it to wake up in the shower in the mornings, which doesn't sound like a bad idea. Again, a sensible shape, nothing too weird, and basic battery-powered.

5. LeLuv Extra-Long Cucumber

This glass cucumber toy is 11" long and 1.3" across, so if you want a toy that can go in deep - or you want plenty left outside to get a hold of - this is a great option.

An added bonus is the padded storage pouch, which should make it a little safer to store your LeLuv glass cucumber away alongside all of your other toys.

We've all pooped our pants (metaphorically speaking) upon hearing the tip noise with our volume cranked higher than we realised.

Rosie recently polled her Twitter followers with a simple question: "Do you prefer models to have the tip noise on or off?"

Unfortunately, the results were hardly clear-cut - 'on' won, but with only 56% of the vote, and nearly 60 people responded.


So why was the vote so close? Perhaps because, even if it is sometimes annoying, people recognise that the tip noise has a part to play - especially when a ninja tip is not displayed in the room.

So perhaps the answer is to keep the tip noise on, unless you are a model who gets bombarded with tips during a show - in which case, keep your volume turned lower, or switch it off completely.

We're big fans of Rosie anyway - her room is like a Disney fairytale come to life, with no drama or negativity, and one of the best soundtracks on MFC too.

But this is the first time we've spotted her issuing a 'voucher code' in this way, and it's a really great idea to draw in viewers from among your Twitter followers.


Of course it's smart to tweet when you log on anyway (and to update your News Feed, but that's a subject for a separate post...) but this seems like a clever bonus to persuade people to click through to your cam room, and to put the thought of tipping you into their heads too, which can only be a good thing.

Variations on this could include tweeting out a coupon code for offline tips, which ends the next time you get on cam, or sending out a coupon code in your News Feed rather than on Twitter, as a reward for those members who actually pay attention to your news updates.

The age-old question - is MFC down for everyone, or just for you?

It's easier to spot MFC downtime on Twitter than anywhere else, as there's usually a flurry of outraged tweets within the first minute or two that MFC is down.

The widget below will update with new tweets that contain the words 'MFC down' - if it's full of random nonsense, MFC is probably working fine.

If it's full of angry camgirls and cockblocked dudes who just got cut off mid-fap, it's probably safe to say MFC is down for everybody.

What do you do while waiting for MFC to come back up? Is it a chance to take a step back and look at how your day's going so far, or are you too angry when it happens without warning?

If the site you work on allows it, advanced CSS can give you even more control over your camgirl profile - and hiding a section is one of the easiest things you can do.

You'll need to be brave if you've never edited CSS before, but once you're familiar with what you're doing, hiding a section of your profile shouldn't be too much of a challenge at all.

1. What's its name?

First of all, you need to know the name of the section you want to hide.

To do this, open your profile in Chrome, right-click on the heading of the section, and click Inspect Element.

A box will pop up at the bottom of the screen, showing you the source code of the page at that point. Don't panic!

If you point to different lines in the code, the relevant part of the page will highlight above, making it easy to spot the section you want to hide.

On MFC, the main sections of your profile can be spotted because they all begin with:

<div class="profile_subsection"

...and each section then has an ID, for example id="profile_about_me" or id="profile_friends"

Make a note of the ID of the section you want to hide - you'll need it in a moment.

2. Hide the section using CSS

Next, open your profile editor and click through to the advanced CSS option.

If you've never used anything except the normal profile editor, there shouldn't be much CSS in the box at this point - but you're about to add to it.

To hide, for example, the Friends section, including your 5-star rating, Admirers and so on, you need to add the following code to the bottom of the advanced CSS box:

#profile_friends {
  display:none;
}

Click the preview button, and the section should be hidden.

3. How does it work?

The # symbol means the CSS rule is applied to everything with an ID that matches the rule - so you would use #profile_about_me to make a CSS rule for the About Me section, and so on.

(If you want to make a CSS rule for everything with a matching class you use a . in place of the # so, for example, .profile_subsection would affect every subsection of your profile - handy for changing all of the fonts at once, for instance.)

Everything between the { and } is part of the CSS rule to be applied to that part of the page.

The display rule simply tells the web browser whether or not that part of the page should be shown at all.

So display:none means it should be hidden, and each individual line of CSS should end with a semi-colon ; which is used to separate different instructions - for example, you might want to set the font for that section of the page, and also set the font size.

If (and when) you reach the stage of applying multiple rules to a section of your profile like this, remember to keep them on separate lines, and don't forget the semi-colon at the end of each line, or your CSS might not work.

As long as you only preview the CSS rather than actually saving it, you shouldn't make any permanent changes to your profile - so if you go wrong, just close the page and start again without saving your changes.

The best way to learn CSS is to try it yourself, just remember not to save your changes if you go wrong!

If you often find yourself feeling anxious while on cam, this simple technique could help you to hold off those negative feelings by quickly 'rebooting' your brain.

You can complete the Relaxing Breath exercise in just a few minutes - tell your room you're grabbing a drink, do this out of sight, and they may never know you were feeling anxious at all.


What is Relaxing Breath?

Also called 4-7-8 Breath, this simple technique is described by Dr Andrew Weil on his website - you can even watch a video of him demonstrating it.

To try it yourself, do the following:

• Touch the tip of your tongue to the ridge behind your front teeth, on the roof of your mouth. Keep it there throughout.
• Exhale all of the air from your lungs. This outward breath should be audible - make a whooshing noise.
• Breathe in through your nose silently for a count of 4. This doesn't have to be exactly four seconds, if you count slightly faster or slower that's fine.
• Hold your breath for a count of 7 - if you're not great at this, count a little faster throughout the whole exercise so you're not feeling faint.
• Breathe out with a whooshing noise again - it should take to a count of 8 for the last air to leave your lungs.
• Repeat the 4-7-8 part a total of four times.

When can I do it?

The short answer is, whenever you want. Twice a day at least, but more often than that if you're feeling the benefits.

Don't overdo it in a short period - you don't want to be light-headed from holding your breath, although you should find as you practise that you can slow down your counting and hold for longer.

Dr Weil suggests using this technique if somebody upsets or annoys you, to literally give you some breathing space before you reply to them; you can also use it at night to put your brain into a sleep state and help to tackle insomnia.

This red onesie with white trim works well as a Santa costume (or a Mrs Claus costume, if you prefer) but although it's Christmassy, you could get away with wearing it at other times of year too, making it a great versatile option.

It's worth clicking through to the page either way, as there are lots of other options to choose from, including panda, cow, tiger, rabbit, giraffe, lady bug, angel, devil, monkey and sheep, and you can choose your size too - no one-size-fits-nobody here.

Let's be honest, Santa will always be the number one costume for Christmas, and with a price around the $30 mark, this is a bargain.

2. Olaf Unionsuit

'Unionsuit' seems like a pretty fancy way to say 'onesie', but if you're a Disney fan, this Olaf suit is a must - supercute without falling into the 'sexy' (AKA slutty) category, if you want something a bit different.

Again, there's a choice of sizes, and it's machine washable so should be easy to clean. And when we checked, it was priced at just about $25, making it another excellent bargain.

3. Elf Unionsuit

Not official movie merchandise, but this is a pretty great elf onesie anyway, with good attention to detail - jingle bells around the neckline, a cute candycane detail over the belt, and the belt itself is removable too.

Check out the 'frequently bought together' items on this one, you can usually find some awesome elf shoes to wear with the suit, and everybody loves a good pair of elf shoes.

4. Rudolph Unionsuit

This Rudolph onesie is sweet and simple - a red nose and some stubby 'antlers' that are probably taken straight from the giraffe version, and a neatly embroidered 'Rudolph' name on the chest.

It's simple but it's also very cute, and makes a change from all the Santa and elf outfits - like the ones we've already mentioned above.

Out of stock when we checked, but worth looking out for this one getting restocked as it's a pretty little thing.

5. Special Delivery PJs

This one looks like a typical bad-taste Christmas onesie from the front, but the real pay-off is on the back, as it has the words 'special delivery' printed across your ass!

It's actually a pretty good product, with buttons up the front and a button-down ass flap for easy access, and it's 100% cotton, which is great news if you prefer all-natural fabrics.

Machine washable and with snug cuffs on the wrists and ankles, to keep you cosy the whole time you have it on - just be warned, it also comes in child sizes, so make sure you order the right size!

One of the easiest ways to introduce games to your room is a pack of playing cards - there are all kinds of games you can play with these, and they're pretty easy to handle on cam too.

Jumbo playing cards are an excellent way to make things easier to see on cam, and your viewers will appreciate the extra effort too, which means you might find you can charge a little extra for them to play.


How big are jumbo playing cards?

They're not all the same size, so shop around for a size you can work with.

We found two main sizes - first there are giant playing cards measuring about 5" x 7" or roughly the size of a large photograph print.

If that's not big enough for you, there are even bigger jumbo playing cards and these measure in at nearly 9" x 12" or about the size of a normal sheet of paper.

There are lots of both sizes available on Amazon, priced at about $5 for giant cards and $15 for jumbo cards.

What games can I play?

In theory, you can play any normal card game, but it's best to stick to very simple games that only take a minute or two to complete.

Some popular options are:

High-Low

Deal 5 cards and turn the first one face up. The player must guess if the next card is higher or lower, and then if the next card after that is higher or lower than the second card, and so on.

If they guess right all the way across the line, they get a prize. The chances of a win depend on the cards - turn a 7 and it's much harder to guess higher or lower correctly.

Blackjack

Also sometimes known as Pontoon or 21, you deal two cards face up to the player. They can 'stand' or 'hit'. If they hit, they are dealt a third card, and then a fourth, and so on. The aim is to score as close to 21 as possible without going over, in which case the player is 'bust' and it is game over.

All face cards (J,Q,K) score 10 points, and an Ace is worth 11 - but if the player is bust and has an Ace, they can count it as a score of 1 instead. If the first two cards are an Ace and any 10-point card, that is 'Blackjack' as they have been dealt a score of 21.

Technically if the player scores 21 with three or more cards, it's not 'Blackjack' but is still worth 21 points, although in plenty of rooms you'll see any score of 21 get called 'Blackjack'.

Once the player has had their turn, the dealer (i.e. the model) takes their turn too, to try and beat the player's score. You can't 'stand' on less than the player's score, or you've lost. Go over 21 and you're bust, and have lost. If either of these things happen, the player wins and gets the prize.

High Card

Probably the easiest card game of all, if your audience is not too bright today...! Simply cut the deck once for the player, and once for the dealer. Whoever gets the higher card wins.

Pro Tips

Whatever you play, some idiot will find a way to get it wrong, so make sure you know your own rules. For example:

• In High-Low, what happens if the next card is the same value as the current one? Does a 'pair' mean the player loses, or do they get a special bonus prize for that?
• In Blackjack, what happens if you both score the same? Again, is this a loss or a win for the player?
• In any game, is Ace 'low' i.e. worth 1 point, 'high' i.e. worth 14 points (8, 9, 10, J=11, Q=12, K=13, A=14) or can it be either depending on what the player chooses?

Depending on which webcam site you use, you might have more or less control over exactly how your profile page looks - and camgirl profile CSS is an artform in its own right.

What is CSS?

CSS stands for 'cascading style sheets', and it's a way of formatting the things you see on a web page - the fonts used for text, the borders around images, and so on.

For camgirl profiles, it's more than just colours and sizes - you can use CSS to create scrolling video lists, to hide parts of your profile you don't want people to see, or even to change the entire layout of the page.

How can I learn CSS?

The best place to practise CSS safely is W3Schools. This has hundreds of examples of individual CSS rules, with a 'sandbox' area to try them out.

Use the category list to find all the rules relating to fonts, or colors, or whatever else you're interested in, and once you find something that you like, copy it into your profile.

It takes some learning, but it's worth picking up at least the basics of CSS, if you work on a camsite with CSS in its profile editor.
