We've all pooped our pants (metaphorically speaking) upon hearing the tip noise with our volume cranked higher than we realised.

But should you have your tip noise turned on at all? Once again we turn to the tweets of the awesome Rosie Tyler to find out the answer...

Rosie recently polled her Twitter followers with a simple question: "Do you prefer models to have the tip noise on or off?"

Unfortunately, the results were hardly clear-cut - 'on' won, but with only 56% of the vote, and nearly 60 people responded.


So why was the vote so close? Perhaps because, even if it is sometimes annoying, people recognise that the tip noise has a part to play - especially when a ninja tip is not displayed in the room.

And also because it's not necessarily a question of having the tip noise on full volume all the time.

So perhaps the answer is to keep the tip noise on, unless you are a model who gets bombarded with tips during a show - in which case, keep your volume turned lower, or switch it off completely.
